On March 30th the opening of the exhibition on Recycling Architecture took place at Studio Hergebruik on the Coolsingel across from Rotterdam City Hall. A substantial crowd gathered to see the results of academy students for the Atelier on the Ministry of Finance in the Hague and the final proposal by Meyer & van Schooten for the renovation of the gigantic concrete moloch. After some drinks and talks Robert Winkel and Oliver Thill had a short lecture on the specifics of recycling architecture followed by a feisty but entertaining debate between Robert "the romantic", Oliver "the modernist" and Lucas "the referee".
